The Metal Miners
The Metal Miners was founded in 1887.
The last active dismantling took place in 1927 and operations thereafter ceased. We have been mining rare earths and metals as well as salts for many years. Our mine in Canada covers 1,523.21 km² with a total of 15,230 “staid areas” of which only 201 are currently used in open-cast mining.
The Miners are currently working on the Staid Areas 202 to 204 to prepare the mining of approximately 5 km².
